As Notre Dame burned and the central spire began to fall a close friend and chair designer for our company was so emotional he had to put into a drawing a chair that would forever remind us of the loss of the fabulous cathedral in Paris to fire. Thus the Gothic Dining chair Black Leather was born. It has a top grain cowhide covered seat cushion and white American Oak that has been ebony stain to keep the grain of the beautiful oak showing through.
